Brazil, Colombia discussing binational investments

The Colombian President Alvaro Uribe, leading a mission of 90 entrepreneurs, is visiting Brazil aiming to increase the binational trade, that from Jan - Sep 2009 reached US$1,3bil, far below than last year US$3bil over the same period. Colombia piles up a trade deficit with Brazil and President Lula stresses the role of this country for the regional integration. President Uribe says Brazilian investments in infrastructure and biofuels are mostly welcome, and offers 20 years guarantees on investment contracts.
