
Because perceptions are not always accurate and changing them is very difficult. Colombia has lived this; though its reality has changed in the past few years the perception of it has continued to be negative throughout the world.
As a result of this misled view, the country looses millions of dollars in tourism, foreign investment and exports. These three sectors have grown recently but they would do so ever more rapidly if we did not have the image of being a violent country in the eyes of the world.
That is why “Colombia is Passion” was born, it is strategy dedicated to changing the way the world sees the country and by the same token increase the country’s visibility around the world.
